A city dog park in Willow Basin Park in Central Park, with a shade shelter, picnic tables and a seasonal fountain. There is no on-site parking.

Rules

In Denver's city parks, dogs may be off leash only inside the designated dog parks. Most dog parks are open from sunrise to sundown; Railyard, the one with lights, is open from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. Dogs need a Denver license and a current rabies tag and must be spayed or neutered (or have an intact permit). Bring no more than two dogs, handlers must be 16 or older, children 10 and under are not allowed, and food for people stays outside. Leash your dog going in and out and pick up after it. Rules and hours can change, and dog parks sometimes close for repairs. Check the signs at the gate.
