Pup cups and dog treats

Coffee and Plants, Klatch Coffee, Muddy Paw Coffee, Muddy Paw Coffee & Park, and Stella Coffee have something just for dogs, from pup cups to dog treats. Many other coffee shops keep a jar of biscuits by the register, and the notes mention it when a source does.

Can dogs sit inside a café in LA?

Usually not. California law lets a food business welcome dogs in its outdoor dining area if the owner chooses to. The dog must be on a leash or in a carrier, stay off chairs and benches, and reach the patio without walking through the indoor part of the café (California Health and Safety Code § 114259.5, Animal Legal & Historical Center). Service animals are covered by other rules. That is why almost every café on this list is about the patio. The only exception on our list is Jones Coffee Roasters, where a source says your dog can join you at a table inside. Ask the staff before you sit down.
