Rules
Outside the designated off-leash areas, dogs in Encinitas parks and on trails must be on a leash no longer than six feet. Some neighborhood parks allow off-leash dogs only at set morning and evening hours on certain days. Dogs must stay out of posted habitat areas, off artificial-turf fields and off city-run beaches.
