Off-leash trail on city land under the SDG&E power lines between Encinitas Boulevard and Mountain Vista Drive.

Rules

Outside the designated off-leash areas, dogs in Encinitas parks and on trails must be on a leash no longer than six feet. Some neighborhood parks allow off-leash dogs only at set morning and evening hours on certain days. Dogs must stay out of posted habitat areas, off artificial-turf fields and off city-run beaches. Rules and hours can change, and dog parks sometimes close for repairs. Check the signs at the gate.
