More about Scratch

Rob Fischer, who also owns Reposado and Palo Alto Creamery in Palo Alto, opened Scratch in early 2011. The room seats about 270 under one high ceiling, with two large dining areas branching off a central bar, high-backed booths, a counter facing the kitchen and a whole wall of wine bottles. The opening wine list stuck to American producers, mostly small California wineries, and the spirits and beer came largely from American craft makers.
