El Cerrito has Bruce King Memorial Dog Park on the Ohlone Greenway, with separate areas for small and large dogs, and Albany lets dogs use part of the Memorial Park field at set hours.
Regional parks in the hills
In Claremont Canyon Regional Preserve and Tilden Regional Park, run by the East Bay Regional Park District, dogs may be off leash on many trails if they stay in sight and come back when called.
