Forest Park also has designated off-leash areas, where dogs can be off leash from the time the park opens until 9 a.m. and from 9 p.m. until it closes (NYC Parks). At Yellowstone Park in Forest Hills, off-leash time is 6 to 9 a.m. only (NYC Parks).
