Claudia Pamparana and her husband, brewer Rodger Davis, founded Faction, which the Chronicle dates to 2013. In 2012 they leased about half of Hangar 22, a 65,000-square-foot former aircraft hangar, for the brewery and taproom. It sits in Spirits Alley, the cluster of breweries, wineries and distilleries around the old base. Besides the hoppy beers there is a lager, and Time Out notes an indoor warehouse room and a food truck that usually parks outside.
