Rules
On Del Mar's North Beach, from 29th Street to the Solana Beach line, dogs may be off leash all day from the day after Labor Day to June 15, and only from dawn to 8 a.m. from June 16 to Labor Day. Main Beach is closed to dogs in summer and leash-only the rest of the year, and South Beach is leash-only all year. (City of Del Mar)
