The building used to house Galoka, an Indian restaurant. The Heines also own Brockton Villa above La Jolla Cove, which opened about a decade earlier, and Megan comes from the family behind the Pannikin coffeehouses. Beaumont's marked its 20th anniversary in September 2025 with comedy, bands and a bluegrass brunch, and some of the staff have worked there since the start.
