Harland's first beer was an IPA, followed by hazy IPAs, kettle sours, a Kellerpils and pastry stouts, brewed on a 30-barrel brewhouse under director of brewery operations Nick Marron, formerly of Saint Archer. The building was shared with Scout Distribution at the start.

The brand has since added a taproom in Bay Park (2020), a restaurant in South Park (2021) and a full-service restaurant in 4S Ranch. Its One Paseo taproom in Del Mar has closed.
