More about The Duck Dive

The name has nothing to do with ducks: a duck dive is the move surfers use to push their board under a breaking wave. The bar took over the space in 2012 from Hennessey's, an older spot known for Irish coffee and live music. Inside, the room is finished in wood, with large surf photographs on the walls and a ceiling shaped like waves. Around the holidays it has turned into a Dickens-themed pop-up with its own cocktail list.
