More about Gravity Heights Mission Valley

Whisknladle Hospitality, led by managing partner Arturo Kassel, runs both locations. The Mission Valley space has no brewhouse of its own; the beer comes from the original, where former AleSmith brewer Skip Virgilio set up the program. Executive chef Jordan Beall, who has cooked at Whisknladle and PrepKitchen, leads the kitchen. Switching from a wood-fired to a gas oven pushed the team toward New Haven-style pies.

The architecture firm PGAL designed the roughly 9,000-square-foot space, which seats about 260, and half of it is outdoor patio.
