The trolley stop on the site was in use from 1929 to 1948, and the restaurant works that history into its look, down to a mini trolley car in the kids' play area. The building runs on rooftop solar panels and the furniture is made from reclaimed wood about a century old. Outside, long communal picnic tables fill the beer garden. Beyond the classic cheeseburger, the kitchen offers a spicy black bean burger, a chickpea patty and a farmers' market salad that can be topped with a beef patty.
