The hotel opened in 2021 as part of Hyatt's JdV brand, with 161 rooms on about 700 feet of beachfront. At launch, Baja chef Roberto Alcocer, who also leads the hotel's Valle restaurant, cooked for the rooftop, which began with an après-surf idea built on local beer and Baja-style food. The space combines an indoor lounge and an outdoor terrace with beachwood floors, olive trees and a fireplace, next to the rooftop pool. DJs play on some evenings.
