Cafés where dogs can come inside

Most coffee shops in New York keep dogs outside, since the rules for indoor food service are strict. A few cafés are built around dogs instead. Boris & Horton in the East Village has a separate Dog Dining Room where dogs can be off leash, and the café says it is approved by the NYC Department of Health. Château le Woof in Astoria has a side just for people with dogs, and Annie's Social in Queens has its own off-leash dog area.

According to our sources, dogs can come inside at Château le Woof, Annie's Social, Boris & Horton, Brooklyn Perk Coffee, JOOY Tea Shoppe, City Coffee Bar, Saturn Road, Social House Cafe, The Bean, Beepublic Coffee Bar, and PlantShed. Some other cafés let your dog come in while you order but ask you to sit outside. The note on each café tells you when that is the case.

Pup cups, barkaccinos and dog treats

Château le Woof, Americano Cafe, Annie's Social, Boris & Horton, Brooklyn Perk Coffee, JOOY Tea Shoppe, Think Coffee (Broadway), Bark & Brew, and Ollie's Ice Cream + Stuff have something on the menu just for dogs, from pup cups to dog-friendly ice cream. Many other coffee shops keep a jar of dog biscuits by the register, and the notes mention it when a source does.
