Dave and Niki Ohmer opened Seek in 2022. Dave brewed for twelve years in Knoxville, built the first Whole Foods Market brewery in Houston and later ran Urban South's Houston brewery, while Niki handles finance, marketing and administration. They brew on a 10-barrel system inherited from Eppig Brewing in an 1,800-square-foot suite, part of a former gentlemen's club converted into brewery suites in 2017. In its first year Seek won Best Customer Service at the 2023 San Diego Beer News Awards.
