Eating out with a dog in Miami
Florida law keeps pet dogs out of restaurants unless the city or county has adopted its own rule allowing them in designated outdoor areas; a restaurant then needs a local permit for its dog-friendly patio (Section 509.233, Florida Statutes). Dogs are never allowed inside where food is served, except service animals, so every place on our Miami list is about the terrace, sidewalk or patio.
